The 23-year-old defensive midfielder is currently on the books of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AJ-Auxerre-c38247 and has long been linked with a move away from the Stade de l’Abbe-Deschamps this summer. A few weeks ago, reports in French daily L’Equipe suggested that Les Gones were considering
making a move for the highly-rated midfielder.
However, Olympique Lyonnais did not make any moves for the midfielder at that time given the uncertainty surrounding the future of the club’s coaching position. However, following the departure of Claude Puel and the recent appointment of Remi Garde as his
successor, Les Gones are now set to sign a few players in the transfer window this summer.
N’Dinga is one of those players who are reportedly linked with a move to Stade Gerland. Furthermore, with the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international Jeremy Toulalan to La Liga side Malaga CF, Les Gones are now looking to recruit a new defensive midfielder.
N’Dinga played 26 games for Auxerre in the now concluded 2010/2011 Ligue 1 season and played an important role in AJA’s escape from relegation after the club made a horrible start to the season.
The Congolese has also expressed his desire to leave the Burgundy club. while talking to the media, the youngster said, “OL is a big club and for us young players, we want to be part of such a club in order to progress.”
The youngster also revealed that he had already spoken to the Auxerre management regarding his future and said, “Auxerre want to keep me but I made it clear to the management. If Lyon are interested, it is up to them to put pressure on AJA for a transfer.
If the offer is good they (Auxerre) might change their minds.”
Remi Garde is currently in the market for a midfielder. Les Gones are already linked with the likes of Landry N’Guemo, Fernando (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 and Ralf are reportedly going to cost the Rhone giants a lot of money while
N’Guemo is close to joining Bordeaux which means that Garde’s options are narrowing down.
Though it remains to be seen how long the N’Dinga-to-Lyon transfer saga continues, the player’s desire might have made the recruitment http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 easy for Remi Garde and Jean-Michel Aulas.
