Delvin Chanel N'Dinga, AJ Auxerre midfielder, has clearly expressed his unwavering decision about joining Ligue 1 giants Olympique Lyonnais in the upcoming 2011/12 season.
The 23-year-old Congolese midfielder is a pure box-to-box midfielder but has not been given enough play time in AJA. However, the player has always made his presence count whenever given the opportunity. The Pointe Noire-born talent will be looking for a
bite in the UEFA Champions League playoffs in order to show his skills and talent on the European stage.
In an interview with the local radio station RMC, the Auxerre player had this to say, “As Lyon are really interested, my wish is to join Lyon as soon as possible and to start the season there.” He added on the stance of Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps, “I am talking with
my managers, but I'm really interested in Lyon so that's for my president to understand what I want. For now, he is not willing to let me go but nothing can be said right now.”
AJ Auxerre youth academy is famous for producing some of the best players in Ligue 1. The likes of Eric Cantona, Laurent Blanc, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jeremy-Menez-c18345 were all products of the AJA youth system. N’Dinga is also a graduate from Auxerre’s youth academy
and the Burgundy club are not willing to let go of the talented midfielder just yet.
Earlier this season, AJA failed to qualify for any of the European competitions as they dropped from third in 2009/10 season to ninth in the season ended.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 will be playing the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League playoffs and wouldn’t say no to a defensive midfielder. Their new coach, Remi Garde, would like to make a strong start to his newly started coaching career and is keen on building a team
that will be able to compete in the upcoming UEFA Champions League.
The special advisor to the Rhone Club, Bernard Lacombe, showed great enthusiasm about signing the young player. In an interview to OLTV, the Frenchman said, “It is urgent that we find a defensive midfielder. The priority is to move forward on N’Dinga.” He
also confessed that it would be a great success should the club manage to sign N’Dinga.
