ALDI STORES, has anyone worked there or got any experiences of working there?

I am thinking of going to work for aldi and i wondered if anyone had worked for them and had any experiences good or bad, and whats the money, rotas and time off like?

  1. What position and location will are you thinking of working for them?

    It's an excellent supermarket to start working for as you could be put on a contract (10,20,30,40 hours you'll probably find that they would start you off on a 10-20 so this means they are only obliged to give you these hours) They would ideally like you to be flexible but that depends on the store's existing staff. They might have students to work the weekends and evenings or mum's to work the days so it's impossible to say what the rota would be like. The money is very good and you'd probably start of around the £6-7 mark and could earn  bonuses for inventory and productivity and there is a good possibility for promotion.

    As they do pay more than most other supermarket you are definately expected to work alot harder. Go in there and see the staff and they are no way like in Tesco or Sainsbury's idling about.
