ALICANTE...is one of our stops on our cruise in october?

were thinking of booking a jeep trip,that goes through the countryside and to Alga waterfalls. it includes a 3 course spanish lunch,and wine or soft drinks.it works out pretty expensive for 4 people so wandering if any one has done this trip and your verdict on it,as in was it worth the money,and did you like the excursion. cheers RIGGS.

You can find info on just about any cruise port, from experienced cruisers, at CruiseCritic.com.  Click on "Boards" at the top of the page, then go to "Ports of Call".  If you don't find what you need, you can post a question, and someone is sure to get back to you.  I think you have to "join" CC to post a question, but it's free.  This is a fantastic site for info on all things related to cruising.

I've been to alicante on a study abroad trip and there's a HUGE castle very high on a mountain facing the beach/sea. I never had the chance to go in because their hours are weird... but I think you should go. Your excursion sounds fun though.
