Question:

ALL of my messages are gone - over 20,000!!!?

This is urgent and possibly disasterous - all of a sudden,

here today, gone tonight - anyone ever experience this?

All of an enture groups messages - is there a limit? All of my other groups appear fine. HELP!!!!

  1. you might have just had had to many for yahoo and they cleared them all out next time read them over a shorter period of time and throw the c**p ones away or the imprtant ones wont be read : [

    We have the same problem too. All our messages are gone today. Only realised it around 9.00AM GMT +8.

    Database also shows Invalid List ID error.

    Anyone has latest updates?

    Intermittent Site Issues

    Update: 5:34 PM PST - The scheduled maintenance is now complete and all issues have been resolved. If you are still experiencing difficulty with your groups, please let us know by commenting below. Thank you for your patience.

    Our engineers have identified the root cause for this issue, and we will be conducting hardware maintenance from 4:00 PM PST to 5:00 PM PST today, 12/3, to resolve it. During this time, some groups will be unavailable for viewing, but no messages will be lost and users will continue to be able to post via email.

    We are aware that the Yahoo! Groups site was intermittently unavailable for a few hours on Saturday morning and again for approximately one hour this morning. As a result of this downtime, some accounts have been temporarily disabled by being put into auto-responder status. We are currently working on re-enabling those accounts.

    We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience. Our engineering team is working to get this issue fully resolved as quickly as possible. We’ll post updates as they are available.

  8. could very well be yahoo going goofy again or

    maybe your email provider did something

    problem at your email address, might have deleted them by accident.   Email or contact all of them to see whats going on.

    If messages were text, you could probably check to see if your group(s) archive their messages + maybe you can go thru them at your groups.

  9. yes, we also lost our messages in one of our groups...all gone. it seems to be a bug in yahoogroups. we were advised to inform yahoo.

    update: i just checked backed again...it's back. it's a bug.
