am i in trouble like with law if i sold 3 items and they paid me and i didnt ship item on ebay?? will they track me down?? what will happen?

It's called Fraud...which is a crime. Depending on the amount defrauded -  it could be a Felony charge - which you really don't want to happen. Expect a visit from the police in the not to distant future. There is always a way to track you down even if they paid cash.

There are many possibilities in this scenario. If they paid you via cash, then you will probably get away with it.

If they paid you via credit card, paypal, personal check, or money order... then there is a paper trail and it matters only how tenacious the buyers are. If they are very pissed off (and they will be) they will come after you, no matter what the cost.

They will find out who you are. They will contact you via phone and E-mail repeatedly. They will find out where you work, call your employer, and tell that person that you steal. They will call the local police and ask them to visit you and intimidate you to pay them back.

In other words, don't be a scumbag... refund the money or ship the items.

Otherwise, you're going to jail.

It really depends on how much you stiffed these individuals. But honestly, dude....do you really want to risk it?  If you stiffed them for a bit of money, you will probably get in trouble.  Better make things right.  They have your name and number and address unless you lied on that as well.  But it won't be long before they can track you.  This is a pattern you are building, the more you get away with it the more you will do it until one day you really end up in jail.  Turn your ways now while you can.  Sounds like you have a conscious now...
