AM I TOO UGLY TO BE A MODEL ???

Question

i'm 19yrs old, height 5'7, weigh 135 pounds. i have a nice toned body...i'm of punjabi descent, born n raised in the u.s.

becuz of my dusky looks, i often get confused as a brazilian, Guatemalan, south american...lol, sometimes, ppl just start talking in spanish to me...most ppl always ask me "wat ethnicity r u" cuz they can't figure it out...i also have sharp facial features...i have a sharp jawline (which i think is unique cuz most indians/ punjabis have round faces),...that's wat everyone has told me...

sry i know it's a silly pic but thats the only recent one i could find...oh and i also have slight acne, but i'm really working hard on clearing up my face...do i have a chance?

how do i get noticed???

I think you definitely have a chance if it's relay what you want!! To get noticed you can contact magazines and stuff like that to see if they need some one to display close on(sorry if that's not the right word).

NO WAY! ur not ugly at all! i bet you have a great chance... And a sharp jawline is a great feature! AWESOME! you should try out- dont use too much makeup, so your pores will get fixed up..

I don't think you're ugly. Besides, models usually don't get picked because they look pretty (there are lots of ugly models), but because they're skinny and tall. Your height and weight seems good. You should go to a modeling agency to get noticed and get an agent to help book gigs for you.

you're completely unique which is just what the modeling industry is looking for send some pictures in to ford models (that is the best one so you can make sure you aren't getting played)

they have the kind of pictures they like to see on the website. But be prepared to move around a lot it isn't easy trust me. Also don't try to trick them by touching up your photos or using make-up, agencies judge people by their appearances for their career so they know all the tricks! Good Luck :-)

your mouth looks too high up so your lips look slightly downturned which makes you look a bit special..

It's hard to see the pics because they are small but from what I can see. You aren't ugly and I think you look very pretty

modelling is a very hard industry to break into and most models are spotted by agencies/photographers, most models do not make it big we've all heard of kate moss and naomi campbell but thousands dont make it and putting all your hopes and dreams into this could lead to big dissapointment.

ps just because people mistake you for a different ethnicity doesnt mean you are good model material, people always mistake me for eastern european and speak to me in other languages i wont be applying to britains next top model

if you want to get noticed, go to a modeling agency and let a professional tell you if you could be a model or not.  Posting bad pics on Yahoo isn't going to get you noticed or give you the proper help..../

You should try getting a portfolio done. Get head-shots done. Get a full length photo of your body and the works. And from there go to different modeling agencies in your area. Work on your runway walk. And your poses.
