AMA outdoors any fun?

Question

A guy friend of mine asked me to go to Millville, MN with him in the next couple of weeks. I like dirt bikes and I've been to a few other races with him but is watching the pros any fun, I mean doesn't it last all day?

it is all on how many rider is race in the comp but it is alot of fun

the lites class is fun but the motocross class is pretty much just watching stewart win everything and the motocross community atmosphere is what makes it so special so you should go you would have fun and it doesn't matter how long it is what you learn and what you see is worth the time

I drive 650 miles every year just to go to Millville so let me just say if its just a few miles down the road then you don't know how lucky you are to be so close to such a awesome event.

Theres nothing like watching 40 of the best riders in the world line up on the starting gate and try to beat each other out to the first turn. More often than not a huge pileup ensues. Thrilling, yet you hold your breath hoping no one gets seriously hurt.

Like a previous poster said, James Stewart is the cream of the crop and he will more than likely pummel the rest of the class (just as he has done in the first 9 races this year) However there is still some good racing to watch. Generally you will see some good battles from 2nd thru 7th place.

It's sometimes hard to follow the race when the riders get spread out on the track (because you looking at the track from ground level) but if you find a good high spot on the track you can follow whats going on pretty well.

I say go! Check it out. You never know how much you will or won't like it if you don't give it a try. You might just find a new sport to call your own!
