AMAZON After getting departure scan, tracking package not updating?

i have a purchase from amazon coming in the mail rite now. On tracking packages it says that it got a departure scan from New Jersey on April 2nd, at 12:45 AM. Its been almost 2 days and i havent received any kind of update (no arrival scan or anything). Should i be worried? or is it customary for an item going htis far to not be updated on amazon tracking packages (BTW i live on teh west coast)

if it's coming by USPS, they are only required to scan upon arrival.  updates are frequently done at night and not seen until the following day.  you are worrying way too soon!
