AMC: Is anyone lovin' Babe?

If so, maybe you can help me. She's just too refined and polished to be Babe! She was remembering how she and JR met 5 years ago as she lolled around in his arms, and I'm surprised he didn't say, "My how you've changed, darling!" She used to be a trailer trash, drink-slinging sleeze who slept with JR's brother during her newlywed days. Now she's just like something out of Vogue magazine. She's just too different! Help me to love her. Help me!!!

You don't love the nu-Babydoll?  LOL  I'm probably in the minority, but I think it was time for a change.  I'm liking the new Babe.  She's polished and not so trampy.  I'm glad they put some distance between her and MaMa.   Old Babe was too trashy, nasally, just plain stupid.  Nu-Babe is stupid too, but she and JR make a better looking couple.  Alexis was too big for JR (physically).  So Babe is going to be a CEO - just a year after she got her GED.  Next week they'll, make Randi Chief Financial Officer of Fusion.  Gimme' a break!

I also miss the "Old Babe", Alexa Havins.. I wish they could bring her back, too. I can't seem to "warm up" to this new one. I miss seeing "Little A" on tv, too. I wonder what happened to him??

I think her son had a lot to do with it as well as her new job. Working at Fusion has matured her a great deal because she doing something that she loves and she is a strong independent woman who isn't looking for a man to take care of her where as in the beginning she was looking for the first available man that could take care of her.  Once she got pregnant she knew she had to change her lifestyle for the sake of her son.  I didn't like her in the beginning but ever since she got a new outlook on life she has blossomed into a beautiful strong woman and you have to commend her for that!

I do not like this Babe either. I want Alexa Havins back as Babe! I don't buy this girl in the role, she isn't that great of an actress to be honest! Alexa showed her spunk and you could actually feel sorry for her even though she did wrong.I look at this girl and feel nothing for the character. They just should have written the character out!

Sorry I can't warm up to this Babe either. Even though Alexa Haven's Babe was sleazy and trashy, there was a sweetness to her face that made her lovable. She acted the part so as to make Babe sympathetic. This actress just leaves me cold. I don't feel sympathetic toward Babe anymore, except in that Kendall and Greenlee keep dumping on her and Amanda. I'm hoping for her to go away or be recast.

I hate the new Babe, she doesn't act very well. Alexa Havens was better. Maybe if people complain to ABC they'll bring her back, but they'd have to figure out a storyline for Jamie too since they're married.

I liked the first Babe better.  But as for the character - everyone matures and grows up eventually.  Watching trailer trash gets boring after a while.
