AMD closed at 7.14 today up, .18. Does it look like this company may be worth investing in?

I mean, they're making the same processors at Intel at a much more affordable price. Plus they make ATI video cards, and with the release of the Radeon HD3870 I think this company is really going somewhere. Is it worth the inverstment?

I've been in and out of AMD for the last 6 weeks.  I've done pretty well.  I got out today at $7.23. I'll be watching it...... but "technically" the market is poised for a downturn.  Semi conductors are already starting to lose ground.

I'm a technical trader and will not renter AMD until the market stabilizes and has already started heading up.  I'd rather buy this at $8 and go up from there than take a chance with a position today.

They have been struggling.  I think they are continually fighting an uphill battle against INTC.   They might be worth a speculation but if you do you have to be willing to realize you are taking a chance.   I do wish them well, but I would not invest in them.
