ANNE FRANK BOOK HELP! ?

okay when and where does the story take place? the secret annex? and be specificcc I JUST NEED HELP ON THIS!

Right first don't listen to anyone who says it's set in Germany it's not. It's set In Amsterdam which is the capital of the Netherlands, part of her diary is in the Secret Annexe which is where they hid from the n***s after they invaded The Netherlands. Other then that read the book, it is quite interesting. I've read it and I never thought I'd like it but I did and I'm a very fussy reader!!

So read the book!!!

You should read the book again, make notes and do research and do your homework for yourself. Wikipedia, yahoo answers etc are not there to do your homework for you. You need to do the reading yourself and find the answers on your own, the internet is not a substitution. People are here to help you if you are struggling with understanding a question or something but they are not here to feed you the answers so you don’t have to do the work yourself. It is kind of sad really that the girl who wrote the Diary that you need to read would have given anything to study and learn freely and you have the right to do that but you are too lazy and don’t care. She wanted it so much and you couldn’t care less. Read the Diary again, you might actually learn something!

It takes place in Germany. I don't know if that is exactly what you are asking but yeah. It is in the secret annex as you well know, but I do not know where in Germany the secret annex is. I don't think that she mentioned it in her diary but I am not sure. It was during World War II, in the years 1942- 1944.

Sorry I couldn't help more but I hope I answered what you needed to know. And as for some of the other people that answered...you guys are just rude. It is obvious she read the book so stop telling her she needs to read it.

Ok they were hiding in the secret Annex, a secret part of the building owned by Otto Frank's company. Anne and her family moved to Amsterdam during world war 2 in 1933 after the n***s gained power in Germany but the family didn't go into hiding untill July 1942, she died in 1994.
