  1. Which particular one because on that page there are quite a few tell me the model number then i can help.

    Dan

  2. Your link takes you to the home page and what language would you like to change it to. No laptop!

  3. Here is a review. Sounds good. The Sony's all have great screens. You have to get at least 2 MBs of RAM with Vista. Check out the battery for waggle.

    ...Pros

        * Very nice looks with a variety of colors you can choose

        * Acceptable Intel processors and up to 4GB of RAM provide plenty of system performance

        * Screen has excellent horizontal viewing angles

        * Solid build quality and sturdiness (with the exception of the battery)

        * Stays cool and makes little noise

        * Good keyboard with some exceptions (see below)

    Cons

        * Unacceptable amount of battery wiggle (design flaw)

        * Too much bloatware installed

        * Screen has bad vertical viewing angles

        * Flat keyboard keys and lack of some dedicated keys

        * AV Mode doesn't work

  4. well there are other laptops far more cheaper than sony that have the same specification

    take this for instance http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/p...

    let me tell you what good about it

    1# 3 gb of remory it comes with is very very nice as it alows you to run your computer with super as you multitask and open programs

    2# 250 gb hardrive is realy so good as it has such a high memory capasity

    3# an intel core duo processer is realy good as it will alow you to run things faster that required for your computer

    is you realy consider on getting the sony then go for it but you can get this at a lower price which i think is better

  5. Laptop for free is a load of rubbish. Much safer to buy one.

    Hmm and that link is iffy. Get an error when i click UK.

  6. Looking at the cheapest Sony Vaio model, it has a Pentium Dual Core (not the faster Core 2 Duo processor) which is fast enough for running everyday applications such as word processing, simple photo editing, surfing the web, email; the integrated graphics is good enough to watch video/dvd but not good enough to play the latest games. The screen is decent and the 160gb storage is very reasonable at the price. All in all I'd say it's not a bad deal for a Sony Vaio. You certainly pay a premium for owning a Vaio and Sony make no concessions to the mass market; you could possibly get a Core 2 Duo laptop from another manufacturer for similar money. Nice laptop though!
