  1. umm 2 yr olds do need a nap so make sure you at least keep him laying down for 30 minutes, umm you could take him to a park, roll a ball around with him, have him help you with some chores, turn on the radio and dance, have fun.

  2. Just goof around with him and let him say what you do. Babysiting little kids, you dont really need to have things planned they will just do whatever...I hope this helped.

  3. make funny noises

    shake a rattle

    try to teach him words

  4. wow your very demaanding? maybe you should not watch a baby?

  5. 2-year olds don't need many Mastermind toys or anything.

According to the Human Development across the Life Span, 2-year olds are pretty much stimulated by colours, different textures and sounds (try not to get squeaky sounds, they'll annoy the heck out of you in less than 5 minutes).

Just try getting some plushies. Whether the 2-year-old child is a male or female, they haven't decided on gender roles yet, so plushies are nice. Don't get toys with bells because a) that will drive you insane, and b) the child may choke on them. And don't think of bringing Lego, unless they are big pieces that he cannot put in his mouth.

So yeah, for entertainment, bring big window picture books, plushies, and a jungle-gym thing, if you can carry it. Make sure the things you are bringing for him are colourful and have more than 3 textures on them (except for the books). They will stimulate him to use his gross and fine motor skills, and the parents will surely thank you :)

  6. I'm the mother of a 2 year old.  I'm guessing you never babysat a toddler??  Most likely he will have toys all over the place.  Take some out and play with him.  He will get distracted and bored easily, so make sure you bring out one thing at a time.  Put it away, bring out something else.  If this is a day long sitting job (8-5?) then you can play outside - they must have toys in the garage to bring out.  Then he will eat some lunch, take a nap? (ask the parents) that will give you about a 2 hour break hopefully.  If you've never been to the house, take a look around and see what he has for toys.  Take a walk to the park or just around the block in his stroller.

  7. watch a sesame street video,  do a puzzle with him      ( little kids puzzle of course)

  8. sing, dance, read, color, he will want to do anything you are doing so long as you are enjoying yourself. Just play, I'm sure he has toys.

  9. dance contest, spray him with the waterhose, play doh...be creative.

  10. elmo and barney stuff.

  11. Quite demanding...

  12. play fun boardgames get a art project for them to to. you can play a sport read them stories you can have a play with old clothes or you can take them to the ice cream shop you can make a small yummy fun snack with them! you can put on a good movie or let them draw puzzles are great to.Since he is small you may want him to take a short nap so he does not get very grumpy

    Good Luck
