  1. I am an aussie, and the weather is still quite warm during the day at march, can be a little cool at night. (I m in Queensland)

Depends on where you are going as to how much money you would need....as touristy kinda places can be a little expensive.  Hope you have fun  :  )

  2. If you're coming to Australia next March ~ Weather is pretty god for tanning in March.

As for the money ~ to save some money if going on day trips etc. while you are here, prepare & take your own food on these day trips as opposed to buying lunches etc will save you a bit of money, for the more important things you wish to spend it on.

Good luck & I hope you enjoy your stay here.

As for how much money you will need while you are here, that depends on where you will be staying as tourist places can be fairly expensive.

  3. Hey its May - so the tan thing is dependent on where you plan to stay the longest. You will definitely have a warm tropical experience in Queensland. The money issue depends on what you like doing - Australia is a continent - not just a country so its incredibly massive and spread out. For example it takes 13 hours to drive from Sydney to Brisbane , but it takes about 25 hours to drive from Brisbane to Cairns. So flying is a cheap and quick alternative to driving. If you plan on staying in the souithern cities of Melbourne or Sydney, you probably won't get a tan, you will have a wild time but you will be indoors - mostly. Our Winter is literally around the corner, snow is falling on the ranges and the days are getting way shorter.

  4. You'll probably get super tanned :)

Im so jealous, I've always wanted to go there, and plan on going there some day. =)

    Have fun!

  5. Australia has annoying weather, when it is hot, it's bloody hot, and when it is cold, it is bitter cold. Warning though: Australia is EXTREMELY expensive compared to the US, so bring as much as you can muster up.

  6. May is autumn so you wont get super tanned and depending where you go it might just be raining, cold and miserable.

I would bring about $3,500 - $4,000 spending money in case. It's better to take some home than not have enough.

As for good things to buy. Not much really. A stuffed koala or roo, boomerang, didgeridoo. That's about all.

Have a nice visit but we are getting into winter now so don't expect any warm weather unless your up north.
