ANYBODY DO LEVEL TWO CHILDCARE AT COLLEGE IN THE UK?

if your on a level two childcare course at college

how many days are you in college out of 5?

Hi there....

Ive just finished my level 3 and done my level 2 before it.

I didnt do it through the college, i done it through the council and was on placement 4 days a week and at the training unit 1 day a week to do paperwork. I worked 30 hours a week and got £100.

Level 2 lasted 1 and 1/2 years and level 3 the same.

A lot of nursries prefer their staff to have level 3 as its more hands on experience with the children, where as at college its normally only 2 days realese to a nursery.

Well worth it now though now im qualified!!
