i picked some up from my work today (hairdressers) because i heard it does wonders for whitening your teeth! i decided to pick up the 6% bottle rather than the 9% because it sounds less harsh on my gums?

someone tell me if its safe to use or if i need to dilute it down somewhat...

it would also be handy if you told me exactly what to do, like do i brush my teeth with it or use it as a mouthwash replacement?

  1. Whoa...DANGER....Warning warning...you should not use Hydrogen Peroxide as a mouth wash in a strength greater than 3%....Attempting to use it as a tooth whitener is not feasible as it is primarily a "disinfectant"....While it's true that in a 30% or more strength it breaks down to an acid like form, that would not only possible whiten your teeth but you would most surely be the local undertakers next customer...Be smart and do not use the strength you have suggested you want to try, stick to the recommended strength of no more than a 3% solution and remember it's a disinfectant not a tooth whitener...Good luck and be safe.

  2. Yes you can use but use caution not to get in contact with your gum.
