ok so long story short , my brothers has a 1991 kawasaki x2 650 cc jet ski , last summer his ski got a hole in the bottom and almost sunk to the bottom of the lake! luckly he was able to hold on to it while it was completly under of water and drag it to shore . we took the spark pulgs out and turned it upside down and turned the motor over to get the water out . then we turn it back over , pour some gas in the cylinders and try to start it , we finally got it to start but it would only run for a few seconds and then just lock up suddenly . we keep on pouring gas in the cylinder and starting it and it would run longer each time but it would still lock up . then we go to start it again and the motor reved out as hard as it could run , so the first thing we do is pull the spark plug wires off and the engine keeps on running with the plug wires in our hands .it ran for about 2 min as hard as it could run while it was on shore . what would make it still run with no spark ???
