I read an article on the blog "eater.com" that they were closed because when they were inspected by the DOH, they had 34 violations.  They didn't have any gross ones, involving vermin or bugs.  Alot of the rules the DOH has are kinda stupid, and are usually ignored by most restaurants anyways.  Don't let this deter you from enjoying their overpriced, mediocre steak :)
