ANZ Has To Be The Worst Bank I Have Ever Dealt With!!!!!!! Beware Of ANZ Bank!!!?

We have just had the worst trouble getting our house deeds off of ANZ bank. They have no hold on them or loan Etc...

They have charged us over a Hundred dollars more than any other bank for the same fee (that I have looked at) to get them transfered and alot of stress and fuss cause they are not doing what they told us they would. Even when I made a complaint I have not heard back anything.

My Grandfather died three weeks ago, our car has broken down and what we were told would take 24 hours has turned into a week. SHAME ON YOU ANZ!!!!!!

I could never in good faith recommend your bank to anyone.

go to the banking and commerce ombudsman! if they dont deliver what they promise and/or behave un-ethically you could be entitled to compensation (ie, a refund on that exhorbitant fee) in the very least it will scare them into sorting it out quickly!

I have never heard of ANZ Bank, I shall google them and read up on them. Around here we have Commerce, Sovereign, Wachovia, PNC, etc.

Forget the Australian Banking Ombudsman office. They are worse than the banks.  

I think maybe they are all in bed together.

As an example:

They told me my bank (ANZ) has to breach one of the condition of use of my card before they could act.

After I received an email from the ANZ bank explaining how the interest was to be charged on my ANZ Visa Card I waited for a few more statements then I examined the interest charge.

I asked why it was wrong based on the method they had provided a few months earlier.  They said they now calculate interest using a new method.  

I returned to the Banking Ombudsman office and complained as a condition of use for my card was that any change to the account would be advised in writing before it happen.    

Yet the Ombudsman office would not do anything to the bank.

I believe the reason is because all Ombudsman offices are all show and no go.  

Their job is to make you believe you have rights and protection when the bank is doing the wrong thing but if you continue your complaint they will make it impossible for you to have any rule or policy enforced.

Don't worry i took out an Anz credit card and maxed it out and left the country\

i feel good about it now
