with Jason Bay leading the way we are sure to have an even better second half season, it feels like the Manny plague has been lifted and we are a team again, not just a "Manny about Manny- his big mess"! anyone agree?

  1. Ya i am glad to see him gone. at first i was a little disapointed but then i saw how good Jason Bay is i was fine with it. I just wish we didn't have to get rid of Craig Hansen and Brandon Moss too!

  2. Jason Bay in my opinion is much better than Manny Ramirez and yes I am happy Manny has gotten out of Boston and if he thinks he's going to do something for LA he's not.

  3. yes

  4. He had to go, all he was doing was being a problem in the clubhouse and ever since we traded manny and got bay, the red sox have won 5 out of 6 and seem poised to make a strong push for the playoffs and beyond.

  5. *raises hand*

Manny had become nothing more than dead weight.

He wanted out of Beantown, he got it, and we're doing just fine without him and his over-inflated ego..

  6. I have to say, I'm somewhat impressed by Red Sox fans' ability to positively spin the fact that they just lost the centerpiece of a lineup that won them two titles.   Yes, his attitude had become atrocious and detrimental, but I find it funny how quickly they forget how much he meant to that franchise.   Without him, your curse would still be alive today and hitting the 90 year mark.

  7. Yes. I think most Red Sox fans were ready to see him go.

I put in caps so you could see it.Just because we are happy to see him gone does not mean we know nothing about the sport.

No one is saying he wasn't an awesome hitter.I know he is first ballot hall of famer but his antics got old and his expectations of special treatment was wrong.

When one player brings down an entire team by being undependable then it's time to let him go. At his age he should learn to grow up and at 20 mil he should play every game like it is game 7 of the W.S.

Jason Bay may not be the home run hitter Manny was but he comes to the ball park every day ready to play.

    Welcome Jayson good bye Manny!

Thanks for the memories as they say.

  8. As A Jay Fan i am kinda kinda not Manny gone yay for our pitching. Bay in that might be worst. A lil less hitting but more fielding.

  9. yes i am manny is a joke he acts like a clown on the field i mean goin 2 the bathroom in the bottom of the ninth and hifing a fan durin a play hes an idiot

  10. I am a Braves fan so I am not glad he is out of Red Sox. However, if Braves sign him and put him behind Chipper (or McCann if Chipper is injured), then I will be glad.

Bay should be with Atlanta now. Stupid Frank did not get much out of Tex.

  11. As a Yankee fan I am a Pig in Mud.  He KILLED the yankees.

    Good Riddance, buh-bye

  12. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT WITHOUT MANNY, YOU WOULDNT HAVE ANY OF THOSE 2 WORLD SERIES.............. IF YOU STILL HAD MANNY YOU'D LOVE HIM BUT YOUR ONLY WAY OF GETTING OVER YOUR SORROW OF LOSING YOUR TEAMS BEST PLAYER IS TO RIP HIM. IT'S OK YOU KNOW NOTHING OF THE SPORT

PAT - Way to put it in caps so i could see it. Are you the same PAT from Saturday Night Live? I bet you wear a f***y pack
