I plan on taking AP classes that way I don't have to do a lot of classes in college and it would save me money and probaby look good on my transcript.

well, anyway, i was wondering:

in 11th grade if I took 2 AP classes (AP English & AP Biology)

and in 12th I take 5 AP classes: (AP English & AP Calculus & AP History & AP Chinese)

do you think that would be to much.

and do you think I should add AP Statistics to my 12th grade year?

  1. Either way, you still have to take a lot of classes in college.  AP classes are like the subject 101's.  I heard that you can graduate from college a semester early, that's only half a year.  It would still look good on your transcript though.

    11th grade-that should be ok

    12th- jumping from 2 AP's to 5 or possibly 6 AP's is HUGE

don't take AP statistics because you are already doing AP cal

are the two AP Englishes the same or different??  I would consider not taking AP English twice if they are the same.  Are you in a situation where you would even reach the level of AP Chinese?  For ex., gone through Chinese 1, 2, 3, 4, and possibly 5??  Before enrolling in ANY AP classes, I would really recommend you into talking about it with your teachers to see if you are ready.  AP classes are very time-consuming and might not fit in with your schedule if you are active in lots of extracurriculars.
