AP English or Physics?

Question

So basically I'll be a Junior next year and it's come down to these two classes. As far as AP, I'm taking, AP Biology, AP Government & Politics and AP Calculus AB.

I cant take both AP English and Physics and i know for a fact that my Senior year i'm going to be even more swamped so i wont be able to take either of these classes.

I want to major in Political Science as a undergrad, so English will come more in handy, but the AP teacher, who is awesome, doesn't seem to know much about the test. Physics sounds awesome and seems to be becoming a staple among competitive students, but it isn't as a rigorous of a course at my school (it might be at your though).

So basically, with the schedule i have, whatever class i take of the two will be at the bottom of my list in terms of priority. While Physics seems more fun, I have absoulutely nothing against AP English, other than the other AP's will come before it, and i'll probably end up with a 3 on the test.

Which should I Take?

english language? or english literature?

i took english language ap this year and i swear it wasn't difficult...but perhaps that is because of my teacher.

i've also taken physics.

i loved them both; english, at least at my school, was so much more insightful than any english class i had had before and it was amazing - lots of writing on the exam and in class though.

physics - really good if you are good at math. i loved it too, but english was better. i did not take the actual class, but self-studied and it wasn't incredibly difficult.

with your workload, i would take english.

english= no formulas or procedures to memorize, only a few literary terms. plus, your application would benefit more from ap english than ap physics.
