How difficult is AP Euro in comparision to AP Macroeconomics, AP World History or AP US History?

What does it cover? Mostly dates or social issues?

  1. I didn't take anything of the above but AP US. Mostly politic and social issues, stressing on  the trends. No dates. Just the periods. I personally like Eu. History (I'm not American) so I guess it'll be easier for me.

It will be slightly harder than AP US because it covers a larger time frame.  Know facts going as far back as the Ancient greeks and romans.  The multiple choice can be the harder part on the exam because of this.  You will definitely need to know a lot about philosophy, a decent chunk will cover the enlightment period.  It's a lot of dates, people and what they did, and how Europe has been reshaped over and over again.

    The essay part is generally more forgiving.  The topics they choose on that are generally taken from the larger more important topics only.  I remember my test had an essay on the magna carta.  There most likely will be an essay about John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, or another philosopher from the enlightment period.  So if the teacher cannot cover that well, it will make the test a lot harder than it should be.
