AP Euro History question?

I got a 1 on my ap exam. :( i am so sad and pissed off. Does this count towards anything? i didnt check off the box where they send it to my college. and i am glad. But does this s***w me over in any way? Also what can i do to prepare for the next one. I got an A this year in the class.

  1. don't worry too much. colleges don't care about the AP test scores as much as they care about the fact that you're actually challenging yourself by taking the class. Try to take more APs and pass them, and hopefully they'll think that this was just a fluke. The only potentially bad thing is that you got an A in the class but a 1 on the test, which puts into question just how challenging the class was.

    Also, have an excuse prepared in case colleges ask you about your score during an interview. make up some kind of excuse, like "a family member died" or something really traumatic that would have affected your score the week you took the test.

    my advice to you is to just focus on getting high grades, a high SAT score, and extracurriculars. then, that silly 1 on that test won't mean anything!
