I'm going into 10th grade this school year and I decided not to take ap european history. I decided to wait until 11th grade. I noticed that alot of people I know decided to take it in 10th grade. Did I make a mistake does it matter if I take it now or in 11th?

  1. I took AP Euro last year as a sophomore, and I personally think it's better this way. Because now I can fit other APs in my schedule junior and senior year. I don't know about your school, but AP Euro was the only AP offered sophomore year, so I just took it then.

  2. i dont see why it would be a mistake. maybe your schedule will work out better if you take in 11th, maybe you'll be able to handle it better; then again, maybe not. i don't know. in my opinion, it shouldn't matter; as long as you do fairly well in it. but since i dont know how ur school is or its standards or anything, the best thing would probly be to go to the guidance counselor for advice.

    best of luck:)

  3. it doesn't matter when you take it, i'm going into 12th grade this year and i'm taking it

  4. a lot of my friends took it in 10th grade..but it is not a require class for colleges..so i wouldnt be worrying bout it
