AP Spanish or AP US History?

Hello fellow answerers!

I am going to be a junior next year and was wondering whether I should take AP spanish or AP US history.

I'm top of the class for spanish honors right now, but I'm struggling a lot in history. But my history class is very different from AP ushistory, i heard. My current history teacher bases grades on projects mostly. He doesn't have much chapter tests. Anyways, I am pretty good with memorizing and stuff and was wondering which one of these 2 i should take.

Please consider the AP exams and the SAT IIs too!

THANK YOU EVERYONE !:)

  1. I've heard the AP Spanish test is ridiculously hard (the recorded voices have really heavy accents....although I haven't actually take it, that's what I've heard)

The AP US history test I took, and while it was hard, it's a lot easier to study for (concrete subject matter vs. ENTIRE language).

I'd talk to some people who have taken the classes at your school. Find out what the teachers were like, and what scores they got. They will both look good on a college transcript.

  2. Spanish AP is hard

    History AP is easy

but that's only for me, who does not need to try in history, and does the same in Spanish, but fails instead of owning

both require memorization, but I would say that History involves more work, while Spanish requires more concentration in listening and writing

  3. i'd pick APUSH because i took it this year and it really wasn't that bad. it was really interesting for me, and i really loved the class. good luck with whatever you choose!
