Question:

AP Test Re-Score...Worth it??

Ok i just got my scores back and one of them i would like to get re-scored BUT i have questions (and yes i know it costs money)

1) Would my teacher be notified if I did get them rescored?

2) Has it ever helped anyone (in a positive way)?

Please do tell me the truth...don't do it to get the points (although i will award them to the best answer)

  1. 1. It depends when you get them rescored. In about 6 weeks the score sheets will be sent out to the teachers, and if your score changes before then, then your teacher will only see your new score (assuming it changes)

    2. I've heard of a few people that got them rescored, and from those people the feedback I have gotten is that the score usually remains the same....1 person actually had their score reduced though, as your exam will be held to higher criticism.

All in all...unless you got a 1 or a 2 and you were confident you passed the exam, I would say to save your money, as it probably will not be worth it.

    Good luck though.
