AP U.S. History???????

Question

Sorry for the multiple questions, but I'm just so unsure, and the deadline is on Friday. Here's my junior schedule:

AP Calculus AB

Honors English

Spanish III

Physics

U.S. History

Random art class

Reasons why I want to take it:

-most of my friends are joining

-i like smart people

-i'll have 4 ap/honors courses for 10th&11th grade (good for UC's)

-i'm a good writer & memorizer

Reasons why I don't want it:

-it might be hard (B in AP World History)

-i already asked my counselor to drop that class

I would take AP US History, especially since you are looking to go the UC's, which are very competitive. Hope this helps

I took it this year and I LOVED it. It's such an interesting class, if you like social sciences then you will do just fine in it. No, it's not one of the "easy" AP classes, it's harder then AP world, but it's not as bad as people say it is. Plus, if you're looking into schools like the UC's, they like to see the most challenging coursework available to be taken. Your schedule so far is looking good, but this would definitely make it even stronger. My advice is that if you think you can handle it, definitely go for it. It's a great class and I think you would really enjoy it. :]
