AP US Government and Politics OR AP Macroeconomics OR Other? Why? Any Pointers?

Both are good choices depending upon your interests and how the subject is taught. The Government class is easier for most students. I would choose based on the competencies of the teachers./

Go the Government route.  That's the class that is usually required for all students to take in college.  And the text vary depending on the instructor but I suggest buying a AP Government help book and doing it along with the course.  May help.

I'd also suggest taking a AP Language and Composition or AP Literature and Composition class.  If you score a 5, you exempt two classes and a language is always going to be a requirement for college.  Just stick to which ever you choose.
