AP US Government and/or AP US History?

Since I'm probably gonna drop french next year (which is Junior year for me), I was thinking about taking AP US Government.

I was in the accelerated course for world history this year, and I got recommended for AP US History.

Would it be a death sentence taking both AP classes? I hear APUSH is ALOT of work, but I am really interested in AP Govt as well (which is mainly a senior class i think)..

  1. next year as a junior, i am taking both ap us history and ap us government. at my school, which has block scheduling (4 classes a day 1.5 hours each) ap us history is 3 terms and ap us government is a semester. i think that taking both together will help you have a better understanding of us history and government. however, ap us government is usually a senior class. the reason why i am taking it as a junior is because ap us government is only offered every other year. so, if i didn't take it this year i wouldn't  be able to take it all. although it will take a lot of effort to succeed in these courses i believe it is worth the time, especially if you say you are interested in the ap government. if you aren't as interested in the ap us history, think of it as a class that will help you do even better in ap government.
