AP environmental science project - recycled product?

Question

For my APES class we have to make something out of recycled materials (ie one group made a tote bag out of capri sun pouches and used some other recycled materials to make the straps). Any innovative ideas? Thanks.

Let me think...Season 3 of Project Runway. They made dresses out of recycled material. Jeff did a dress out of newspaper. You use muslin as a base and glue or sew the newspaper on. You could use aluminum can tabs as the straps for a sundress

Also, a flower arrangement out of aluminum cans and bottlecaps. A hobo style purse out of orange juice or milk containers. Decorative planters out of milk or juice containers could be done too

Collect non-recyclable plastics and use it to stuff useful fabric shapes(instead of styrofoam or plastic beans)  as an example of how to keep plastic out of landfills. Use fabric that is recycled(from pet plastic bottles) or re-purposed( old blue jeans or sailcloth).
