  1. The statistics class will give you a good foundation for the math classes you'll have to take in college. If you're already planning to major in a science, you'll get the earth science (or something more applicable) later. But you may find that you have to take several classes that call for a good understanding of stats.

  2. i don't really know anything about AP earth science, but I do know about AP Statistics - it was, quite possibly, the worst AP class i have ever taken, but only because my teacher was overly particular with grading (taking points off of tests for not stapling in the correct spot!!!) and because the class movee at a lightning pace to fit 14 chapters into one semester.  The material itself, however, is actually slightly unsatisfactory if you like math - Personally, i loved calculus, and was slightly disappointed that AP Stats required little more math than basic algebra.  It does require a lot of memorization, though, and you have to be able to grasp some abstract concepts.

You sound like you are well prepared - I'm sure either class would be fine for you...

  3. There is no such thing as 'AP Earth Science'. This must just be a class that is at your school that they threw the term 'AP' onto.

These are the AP tests offered by the college board:

    That being said, take stats.
