The Belgian/Spanish goalkeeper has distaste for the Special One’s antics off the field and believes he is a nuisance in world football despite his brilliance.

APOEL Nicosia’s goalkeeper, Urko Pardo, started from the top as he attacked Jose Mourinho’s antics earlier in the season.

Reflecting on the situation, Pardo praised Mourinho for the manner he handles the media but believes he went over the top in that incident.
He added that football is a sport which should be played with its rules and accused Mourinho of inducing violence in it.
"He started from the bottom and I think he plays the media well," the former Barcelona B squad player said while talking to El Mundo Deportivo. "But Mourinho has exceeded the limits [of what is acceptable].
"Although this is a business, I still see football as a sport. I am against his kind of violent attitude, like putting his finger in the eye of Tito Vilanova."
It has been stated that the eye poking incident was a mistake on the Portuguese’s part but Pardo was adamant that Mourinho meant what he did.
The shot-stopper added that it’s part of Mourinho’s DNA and the incident should not be dismissed as a one-off accident.
"It was no mistake," the 29-year-old argued. "He did it on purpose. It's all part of his game."
With the verbal battles starting, APOEL will have a stiff task at handling the Madrid-based outfit.
After registering eleven successive wins in La Liga, Jose Mourinho’s men have recorded two draws on the bounce and will look to thrash their rivals for a place in UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
Their recent run has brought their comfortable 10-point lead to 6, with a trip to the Camp Nou remaining.
