what was the 'CE' and lion symbol question?

and the polyester one.

Actually what did you write; anything at all?

I don't think I did very well. i just made up a lot of it. I said the lion ment it was made out of soft material but was strong? lol I don't know if that was right though. Everyone in my exam came out saying it was all easy except for me so now I feel like I've done reaaally bad

I know! I don't know what that lion was either! I know that the CE one was to do with the product conforming to european standards, but I've never seen that lion before.

i put like its a european standards thingy.. the lion thing was real hard, we ddnt get taught these....

it was a rubbish exam...

what design question did u do?

i thought CE was a label saying its OK for children to use etc

its wrong..its about European standards and what not

dunno what the lion stands for.

CE is  label which indicates that the product has met european health and safety standards. The fact that it was on that children's book shows that the book probably has a fire resisitant finish, no components of fibres that could come loose and choke the child etc.

No idea about the lion- never seen it before in my life! Though I have a vague memory of it being on one of my baby borther's toys.

Which polyester question. The satin plyester one or the polyester bag. I had not idea about the first one (I had a good guess though) but the second one was easy. I just listed of all the properties of polyester that I had memoriesed from the txtbook.

Overall it was a pretty easy exam don't you think. I designed two cushions inspired my hats. Everything went weel, except that I ran out of time at the end so my clouring's a bit shoddy.



I'm really hoping for an A* (got full marks in CW so aaahhh). Hope I did OK.
