AQA Higher English Spec A Paper 1 today?

Question

Did anyone do this paper?

Seems like the whole of the UK's on Edexcel.

How did you find it? I found it more difficult than I expected. I had problems rationing my time too. I was scrawling right up until the last minute.

i thought it went quite well though i ran out of time and kinda rushed the last question, i chose argue =]

and i could off added more but time was going other then that i thought it was good

I did the WJEC version.

I was not happy. It was quite difficult, but I also had trouble rationing my time. I spent AGES on the 4 questions, I had enough time to finish, with about 10 seconds to spare.

the aqa, i thought it was much better than the literature paper

much better a bit happy cause i think i did well, lets just hop so anyway

i did this one too! i found it ok but i was writing up until the last minute too!(it didnt help that there was a spider on the floor right by my feet so i couldnt concentrate!!!!)

i did Q5 but everyone seems to have done Q4, maybe that one was the easier one i dont know? But overall i found it quite good! :D

Yeah me too. well i think i did OKAY on section A, but then i rushed through section B (didnt know what to write, i was running out of ideas, so i kept repeating this rhetorical question after each paragraph lool i hope it sounds good though!!) :\

What question did you do on Section B, i did question 3....despite the fact that i had revised ONLY for writing to persuade bacause i assumed that would be the easy question. So yeah i flopped section B....

I did the same paper today

I found it alright. It was easier than the mocs i had done, but i guess that is because i put in more work, although all the people who did the same paper from my school seemed to find it really difficult.

I also had problems with time, particularly on the media and non-fiction section, but managed to get it all done in the time, just about.

I done AQA before when i did my GCSEs...it is harder but i managed to As so i was happy...i'm sure you did well!

I did this paper today.

I found it okay, it seemed easier than the mock exams that I did. I was writing up until the last minute too. Although half way through a phone went off so we got an extra couple of minutes incase the ringing phone has 'disturbed' us.

Yep I did that one this morning. I found my timing a bit hard too. But I was just trying to write too much lol. I found it ok, not as bad as I thought. Glad its over and done with.

i did this paper today and thought it was quite good. I finished just in time actually but overall quite a good paper.

i thought it was easy, but  thought it seemed 2 easy so i thought they wer trick questions
