I have an essential Arms lower reciever. I was wondering if it matters what parts kit I put in it. Should I order an essential arms parts kit or would any other kit work?

  1. They are all pretty much the same. And the trigger weight is rather close to each other. Mine personally is Colt.

  2. If it's a quality lower and a quality kit different manufacturers shouldn't matter.

I like del-ton. They've got a good standard parts kit and a nice selection of match triggers.

  3. You can get all the parts you need in one kit through Brownells.com They carry the DPMS lower parts kits. See link below:

  4. Any decent parts kit should work.

I have a doublestar lower with a cmmg parts kit in mine..

  5. Yes you can add parts from different manufacturers BUT BUT BUT take my advice. If you are not familiar with these rifles, buy your parts kit from Essential Arms.... That way you know they will work and if theres a glitch they cant lay a line of c**p on you that there kit only works with there receivers, or there receivers only work with there kits.... Sure it doesn't take a genius to build these AR15's but my opinion on your first build is to keep it simple. Get all the lower receiver, stock and parts from the same place........
