  1. All those are good results for your SATS. But being perfectly honest, when you leave school they are of no relevance to you or an employer. They will however help decided which class/set you will be in for GCSE's, and in turn could be integral to you being entered for the higher tier GCSE papers rather than foundation.

  2. TALKING IN CAPS REALLY ISN'T NECESSARY?!?!?!?

That being said, yeah, they're good, but they don't really matter. However you have a better chance of doing well on tests that DO matter.

  3. Your scores are good but the meaning of SATs is not really relevant to the individual pupil, it's to find out how well the school is educating the students and the SAT results reflect the teaching. Basically you have a good understanding of what you are being taught in school. Give your teacher a pat on the back! Well done and don't worry.

  4. Hmmm, it seems you have a problem with your caps lock button.

Anyway, yeah they are really good scores. Your predicted english score is average but other than that you are above average.

They mean absolutely nothing though. They don't even put you in your sets for GCSE really; your teachers will have already sorted out the sets long before the SAT's results came in based on your classwork. They may use the SAT's results to ensure that they made the right desicions and to modify them accordingly but other than that they mean diddly squit.

  5. like what i got :)

they will get you into all top sets for yor gcses!

  6. They will decide your set for GCSE's.  Other than that they do nothing for you.  No one wants to know what they are for anything in the future, only your school will use them, and even then if you are in a lower set you can still get a good grade at GCSE.

Your grades are good though, you'll be put in high classes!

They are purely there for government statistics - sorry!

  7. Trust me, SATs mean nothing. Everyone gets worked up about them in yr9, like I did, but once you reach GCSEs and A Levels, nobody cares at all. I'm in yr12 now, we don't care at all about SATs and neither does the world. When you get a job, find a girl etc, your SATs won't have any impact, it will be as if you didn't do them.

But yeah, they're good results, they're the max you can get in maths/science I think isn't it?

  8. are they good

    there EXCELLENT !!!

anyway the SATS marks dont really matter, i got all het up about them and its just to see how much progress the school has made, your GCSE's are much more important

well done anyway you ahould do well in your GCSE's if you got them grades

    good luck :)

  9. Yes they are considering that 8 is the maximum. They determine what sets you go into for GCSE next year. And that affects the paper you do for GCSE's in English, Maths and Science

  10. Level 8 in maths means you are in the top  one or two percent in the country for maths. Level 7 in science is in the top 5 percent of the country. A five in english is above average, a 6 is in the top 10 percent or so. So overall u did brilliantly :D. SATS have no affect on your later life. They are just there to test your school as a whole, not you as an individual. Unless your school has sets for subjects next year then they will not contribute towards your GCSEs class sets. No employer will ever look at your SATS. They will only look at your A Levels (AS and A2) and your GCSEs. So to put it simply SATS are a waste of time and effort and will not help in any way in your life. The school hypes you up, telling you they will be really hard, when they are in fact the easiest exams you will sit in your life.

  11. They are good but they don't mean anything! SATs are actually pointless exams, be happy at what you have achieved but they don't contribute anything to your future. Now you've got good results focus on GCSEs as they will get you into college!
