ARE THE DETROIT PISTONS BETTER WITH OR WITHOUT RASHEED?

The Detroit Pistons has been one of the best two teams in the east for the past 8 years at least!! Could they have been the most dominate team in the east without Rasheed or were they better with him? Remember the playoffs counts!!!!

um i cant say yes det are better with sheed and i cant say they arent better without sheed b-cuz if you look at it pistons made to the playoffs every year with sheed even when he was out with an injury they still mange to win games without him just like rip when he was out still mange to win games but you can say dat with anybody on the team like is pistons better with or without rip or chauns or any of the started five i mean each player always have smthing to bring to the table and without rip 1 of the bst shooting gurad in the league chauns up there with 1 of the bst point guard you know so i wont say the pistons are better with him bt jst he brings alot to the table.

The Pistons are better with him unless they get someone else as good or better. Let's face it, centers are hard to come by in the NBA today. Detroit has always done well with Rasheed except in the playoffs when he tends to abandon his post game and he launches a ton of threes. If he can stick to his roots by playing the post first and only shooting three pointers when the time is right he can still be one of the top players around.

The Pistons are better with him as long as he learns that he needs to stay in the post and shoot OVER HIS DEFENDER instead of going outside all the time and shooting the 3 pointer. Because of his constant whining and complaining and not staying in the post where he belongs, he's starting to become overrated and it won't be long before he's traded. Because of his height and (potential) athletic ability the Pistons can still make some noise, especially on defense, as long as they don't have to play the Celtics because KG always dominates Rasheed whenever they play.

Rasheed is an inconsistent offensive threat but he always brings intensity. Now that Flip is gone, maybe Rasheed will alter for the better or for the worst, ouch!

I don't know what to think of the Detroit Pistons, for the last six seasons, they have made the Eastern conference finals for the last six times, and have only been Eastern Conf Champs twice, 1 championship,1 Loss.

What I don't understand is why or how they lost to Miami, Cleveland, and Boston.  They had homecourt advantage against the Heat and Cavaliers, and they were the first team to win in Boston in the playoffs.  I don't think Rasheed is the problem, there is nothing wrong with your team, which is why I don't understand why they haven't been east conf champs for a third time or fourth. Why don't you ask Stern!!!?!!
