ARE THERE CONTACTS THAT YOU CAN SWIM IN?and get wet?

IS THERE A CERTAIN TYPE OF CONTACTS MADE SO THAT YOU CAN SWIN IN THEM? CONTACTS THAT WONT COME OUT WHEN U GET INTO THE WATER? OR IS IT BETTER TO JUS WARE GOGGLES..OR TO TRY NOT TO SWIM OR GO UNDERWATER..LIKE IF I GO TO A WATERPARK AND I GET ON WATER SLIDES AND WAVES AND THINGS IS IT A BIG CHANCE THEY WILL COME OUT??

no there isn't. but i swim with contacts, and they never come out. prescription googles would be better, but if u go to a water park, u can't wear googles on ur face the whole day.

I wear Accuvue 2 contacts.  I wear them when I go swimming in a pool, at the beach or even at amusement/water parks.  I just make sure to keep my eyes shut when I'm under water or on the slides.  

I've never had any problems.  I do wear goggles if I'm going to be diving for rings or something like that but usually I just go without them.  

I wouldn't be to worried about them coming out.  If you are really concerned about it you could always contact your eye doctor and ask his/her opinion.

there isnt a certain type, but i swim with my contacts and just make sure to wear goggles.

-also they have prescription goggles if you are that worried about losing your contacts.

no cause concacts pretty much suck on to your iris untill you take them out but the force of the suck isnt stronge enough to hold it there while the force of the water is going against it. i would llove to have those too if they did exist . but my eye doctor told me they  didnt.. but there is perscription goggles..

No, there are no contacts made for swimming. You can wear them to swim in but you risk losing them or getting an eye infection. I would recommend a pair of prescription goggles for lap swimming /diving or regular goggles with a tight seal if just want them to keep water from drenching your eyes.
