I can pass the BCT graduation 2min. pushup and situp requirements but I'm barely passing the 1 mile in 8:30 BCT entrance requirement and cant run more than that to save my life, I ship in a couple days and am pretty worried, what happens if I fail my first 2-2-2?

  1. I am enlisting in the U.S. Army later this year, then doing training and deploying once I turn 18 and graduate from high school. My advice to anyone that has more than 6 months before you do training, push yourself to your limits training, lets say instead of training to pass the 1-1-1 or 2-2-2, train to do the 10-10-10.  The Army is meant to be hard not easy, always train and make yourself great at everything you do before you join. I have a little over 1 year before I go to training and I'm going to the gym an average of 6 times a week, running 3 miles a day, doing a good 300 pushups/situps everyday. Swimming laps for about an hour a day, and doing close to 100 pullups a day.
