ARMY JOBS... HELP!!!!!!?

Question

I need a lot of help! I got a 99 on my ASVAB... my GT composite was a 140...

Can anyone help me pick a job? The recruiters have only talked about Intel jobs... I just don't want to be led to a job that isn't going to be right for me...

I got a high ASVAB score as you did, and I wish i had asked. I decided to be a signal support systems specialist (25U) and that was cool, but I wished I had picked military intel analyst their jobs are cool and you get a Top Secret clearance.

The about.com link to jobs has all services jobs. There are some different ones in each branch. Don't limit yourself to the Army. Read the job descriptions carefully. Take a career assessment test to help you figure what you'd be interested in.

Also keep in mind that you will not go to MEPS and tell them you want such and such MOS and expect to get it. Your options when you will be limited to what is available that day.

If you have a dream job in mind from doing the research and it isn't available that day then do not settle for something else. You have the right and ability to walk away and come back later. It will upset the recruiter a bit but this is your future.

You can pick any MOS you want to do.  If you're a genius but still want to be a mechanic, so be it.  They definitely would rather you do anything rather than not serve.
