ART! questions PLEASE ANSWER!?

Much religious and ritual behavior is adaptive. Can you think of cases in which it is

not? What does it mean for religion to be maladaptive?

1) What factors influence the production and appreciation of art? Do artists work in a

cultural vacuum of pure personal self-expression? What role does society play?

2) What role do the arts play as collective expressions of cultural identities? Is art

conservative or liberal? Does art promote change or inhibit it?
