Insurance is a horrible industry.  When I was in insurance my boss told me that all insurace is placed with one company in the world and is all funded by drug money.

But in all serious, if you like that industry, you should familiarise yourself with the company's policy wording.  That would be your number 1 priority so you know what the company covers, etc

you should do first ,making of prospect list segment wise and start from the low profile people for built up your self and then you should go for open market,also request to prepare your self complete and take target and disclosed to open. all the best
