Claudio Ranieri has been impressed with the performances of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emir-Bajrami-c12511 at the Euros and is keen on bringing him to the Stade Louis II
Under the new Russian owner, AS Monaco can look towards better days. The Principality club were relegated to Ligue 2 football at the end of the 2010/2011 campaign and for a long time, it seemed that the club’s downward spiral will continue.
However, Dmitry Rybolovlev intervened and saved the club from going into oblivion. The Russian oligarch has promised to inject 200 million euros over the next four years in the transfer market which can mean only one thing – AS Monaco will rise again in
French football and will be competing with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, LOSC Lille and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 soon.
The appointment of Claudio Ranieri has helped in this regards as well. The Italian tactician knows that the club needs to have players with international experience in order to be at the top and has thus spent money on bringing players with international
experience to the club.
Already, the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jakob-Poulsen-c17613 have joined the club. Reports now claim that ‘Tinker Man’ is now keeping tabs on a Swedish international who impressed a lot for his national team at the Euros.
Voetbal International, De Telegraaf and Algemeen Dagblad claim that Ranieri is already in advanced contact with the player’s agent.
Bajrami is currently under contract at Dutch side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 and would be open to a move to Monaco as he seems impressed by the new project at hand.
Furthermore, in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753, the midfielder was never really given a chance to show his true colours. Moreover, recurring injuries also hindered his progress. Though the next season promises to be a better one, Bajrami is keen on changing scenery in order
to revive his club career.
Reports claim that FC Twente still haven’t lost patience in the player and will be willing to farm out the player to Ligue 2 for one more season. An unnamed La Liga club is also interested in the Sweden International’s services so Monaco have some bargaining
left to do.
