AS Nancy’s Julien Feret linked with Schalke 04- Bundesliga News

He insisted that the only thing that the club requires is some young and fresh legs. Rangnick also felt disappointed after finishing in the bottom half of the
table and was apologetic towards the fans. The 52-year-old further added that he already has some plans for the upcoming 2011/12 season and will ensure that the club regains its lost momentum.
Feret on the other hand mentioned that he wants a new challenge for himself and expressed his delight at being linked with the Champions League semi-finalists. He also confirmed that he might not hesitate signing down for the Bundesliga outfit but wanted
a move out of the Ligue 1 side.
The 28-year-old joined the Thistles in 2008 and since then has managed 68 League appearances, bagging in nine goals. Before joining Nancy, the midfielder was employed at Ligue 2 outfit, Stade Reims, where he netted in 17 goals during his three years stay.
He managed 96 League appearances during the process. The Frenchman has also represented the likes of Chamois Niortais, Cherbourg and Rennes B.
Feret signed a five-year contract with the Thistles and currently has two more years left with the club. Nancy officials have agreed to sell the midfielder but only upon getting an acceptable offer. have also expressed their interest in the Nancy man. Both clubs have reportedly offered 5 Million Pounds for the 28-year-old but Schalke looks to be the most likely destination for the midfielder.
Nancy finished the 2010/11 season 13th in the League table with 48 points while Schalke ended up securing the 14th spot which was a complete contrast as compared to their last year’s performance.
