The Giallorossi director general has stated that the club will continue to search for new opportunities in the market after signing Mattia Destro from Genoa.
AS Roma director general http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Baldini has revealed the club’s transfer plans for the ongoing summer transfer window, and has stated that he will continue to make purchases to further consolidate the strength of their squad for the upcoming season.
The Giallorossi recently finalized the acquisition of Mattia Destro on loan from co-owners Genoa and Siena, after a long drama surrounding the contention of the young striker.
Franco Baldini stated that AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 are not yet satisfied with the squad at hand, and insisted that the club will continue to look for new transfer opportunities in order to strengthen themselves for the upcoming season.
The Maggica director general stated that their aim is to bring the club at par with the top sides in Italian Serie A, and insisted that it is the recognition of the fact that they can still improve that is propelling their actions to never stay content with
their efforts.
The Giallorossi chief pointed out that there is still time before the close of the transfer window, and insisted that the club will look to utilise the time in the best possible way.
While talking to the press, the Lupi GM said:
“We are looking to form a squad that will make us more competitive in Serie A and we are sure that we will be able to do that. We’ll continue to make improvements because we know that we are missing something in order to become even stronger. The market
is still open until the end of August so we are hopeful on that front.”

Zdenek Zeman then took over the microphone and expressed his delight at the signing of Destro, and insisted that the inclusion of the young maestro will give him added options in the attack.

The Czech coach joined AS Roma at the end of the 2011-12 campaign from Pescara.
