The Giallorossi director has stated that the club is edging closer towards their first buy in the summers, and remarked on the future of their current stars.
The Wolves have failed to find consistency in their results this season; however despite their inconsistencies throughout the campaign, they are sitting in the sixth position
in the Serie A standing. Even though there are still nine games left in the Serie A, the Roma board has been busy in finding suitable reinforcements for the next season.
The capital outfit is still in contention of qualifying for Europe and are currently seven points adrift of the UEFA Champions League, which is currently occupied by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775.
Besides Champions League, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 are still four points behind the last Europa League spot currently occupied by Udinese. If Luis Enrique's side can make a late consistent run in the Serie A, they might have an outside chance of making it to the Champions
League, a feat which would make signing top quality players easier for the Giallorossi.
Sabatini confirmed that they had identified the possible weak points of the team and were working hard to find proper reinforcement to bring to Rome. During his interview
to Radio les, the director reflected:
“We know the areas that need work - the team must have more personality. We will try for players with this quality. We know what to do and are already very active, I’m sure
we will do well.”
The football director remained coy on the name of the player, but suggested that it was a player of great quality, who would add a different dimension to the Giallorossi.
Further commenting, he added:
“We are very close to taking a player, one of the highest quality. I will not say anything further as it would play against the club and the deal itself.”
He commented on the future of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bojan-Krkic-c7794 by stating that the club would give the youngster another year before confirming anything. However, he distanced himself from confirming
anything regarding Simon Kjaer’s future at the capital side. He stated that they would decide it come the end of the season.
