AS Roma new owner Thomas DiBenedetto is looking forward to completely revamp the outfit. Recent news from Italy revealed that DiBenedetto is looking forward to the construction of a new private stadium and a change in the team logo.
The new stadium is expected to be constructed in the Massimina area of the Roman city.
The current stadium, Stadio Olimpico is owned by the Italian National http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympic-c40122 Committee but DiBenedetto has reached an agreement with the committee and a new stadium will be built very soon in the Massimina area. The previous owner Rosella Sensi also wanted
to follow the same patterns in 2010 and many designs were suggested for the new stadium but no progress was made since then, despite having all the theory done.
La Maggica will be the second team to own a private stadium after the Turin giants, Juventus FC. Juve are the only club in Italy to have constructed their own ground and it will be open to the team in the upcoming 2011-12 season.
DiBenedetto is also considering a change of logo as part of his revamp campaign. The current logo of the Giallorossi depicts a wolf and it is more like a symbol of recognition and pride for the team. The entrepreneur on the other hand, wants to make Roma
a world known entity and in pursuit of his dream, he will be changing the logo as well.
The transformation of the La Maggica into a global brand and using the club as a commercial enterprise might not be the best thing for the fans but it will be beneficial for the outfit. Italian news agency, Il Corriere dello Sport revealed that the design
changes will be made in accordance to the outfit’s traditions. The design will be approved carefully with all due respect to the club and its fans and it will be kept as close as possible to the original symbol.

An overhauling is already in progress to replace inconsistent players with top class players. The addition of a new stadium would bring great monetary supplies for the outfit and Roma’s future under new the ownership looks prosperous.
