The Giallorossi have made an official announcement declaring the acquisition of the young striker, and the deal is reported to have cost the capital outfit a total of €19 million.
AS Roma have made official their signing of Mattia Destro in a loan-deal with Genoa, and it has been confirmed that the full acquisition of the striker will cost them a total of €19m.
The move was considered to have been finalized between all the involved parties, and today the announcement was made that the temporary acquisition has been filed officially.
Enrico Preziosi’s outfit will be paid a sum of €11.5m for the 12-month loan period for the budding star, and the Giallorossi will have to pay a further €4.5m to make the acquisition permanent at the end of the loan-period.
The Maggica will also send out two of their promising youngsters Giammario Piscitella and Valerio Verre on co-ownership to Genoa, as part of the same deal, the latter of which will be sent on-loan to Siena.
The two AS Roma players are valued at €1.5m each, and thus the total aggregate cost of acquiring Destro computes to €19m.
The capital outfit made the announcement on the club’s official website, stating that the move for the now former Siena-man has been completed, with the right to buy him outright at the end of the season.

The agreement, filed today at the Lega Serie A, also includes the right of option to purchase the player outright for a fee of €4.5m.
With the club, Destro has signed a contract for five years, expiring on June 30, 2017. In the same operation there has also been signed with Genoa the agreement to sell with a co-ownership agreement, the rights to Giammario Piscitella and Valerio Verre, with
a net consideration of €1.5m for each player.”
